Kimmel gave an interview to People last week where he was asked about what he thought of his fellow late-night hosts. He called Fallon and Colbert rapists. That's what he thinks is funny so I'm not surprised he thought that prank was funny.

Maybe some of that backlash is from actual rape victims. Just a thought.

It wasn't a rape joke. He was joking about Bill Cosby turning up to the ceremony, just to see how everyone would react. Tina Fey's reaction was pretty funny.

He made quite a few OJ Simpson jokes. Did the same people complain about those

People did complain about the OJ Simpson jokes. No one looked comfortable with those. Especially the one about Johnnie Cochran 'looking up at us'.

Ricky Gervais has said a million worse things at awards shows. No big deal.

quite amusing, he could, and should have said a lot worse.

The amount of idiots getting 'offended' is the best bit.

    Well quite.

People saying he was making jokes about rape must have little or no understanding of the English language.

Well they have to get upset over something, that's what they do, probably only thing they do.

I only remember John Travolta looking unimpressed.

Are the same people complaining about the Bill and OJ jokes?

The only issue I have with Kinmel is that I don't find him funny at all.
