I don't think you could say the version of 'no name' Eastwood plays in High Plains Drifter is good per say, though the politics of that movie are all over the place.
Hell, you could argue Dirty Harry is a fascist as well. As mentioned, he doesn't really play easily definable characters.

Chris Evans hasn't played a villian - unless you count his current role on Broadway. But really he's not a villian there either, just a lying cheating scumbag.

John Wayne - In his early movie roles,the Duke played a lot of anti-heroes- borderline villians.
The Searchers,Red River,Angel and The Badman,Reap The Wild Wind and a few others I can't think of right now
