In the first instance, I went back to Adobe Air 3.4 which didn't work, then neither did 3.1. On somebody else's recommendation, I used Air 3.4.0.2540 which has worked, saving too much further kerfuffle.

It can be found here: http://www.oldapps.com/adobe_air.php?old_adobe_air=8210

    Saved moving repositories etc etc

    Good Luck!

There has been an update to Air from 3.4.0.2540 to 3.4.0.2710 which is now available (Auto download when BBC iPlayer opened)

    Seems to work OK.

Just to let you guys know
I've been trying to fix this for over two weeks now!

I have uninstalled, deleted loads of folders etc...

And just then I finally tried deleting the repository folder with downloaded shows in.. and this has fixed it.

So annoying that I'll have to redownload them again but I guess you should try that if all else fails!

I did that last time too, back in April.

Now I have SKY+HD with BBC iPlayer, I rarely use the desktop version.

With Apple iMac, reverting back to Air 3.4.2710 works for me.

I just wonder when will AIR release a 3.5 or 3.6 update that works.

    Or the BBC for iPlayer.
