    really pleased with that half. kept it simple, didn't get overwhelmed and created some decent chances - we definitely deserve to go in one up.

    Withstood some early pressure, and have played well, with much more forward play as the half went on. Excellent goal from Ade, but two really good chances missed by lennon and Soldado.

    Hope we don't rue those.

    Agonising listening for the last 23 minutes. Excellent start to 2014 (for me ;-) as a fan), positive yet slightly ambiguous result for us as a club given our form so far this season. Very happy with a win at OT on any day of the year though.

    Thanks. We played very well today, and were so organised. We had one bad minute, straight after the 2nd goal, and that was it.

    Yeah, thought Lennon was very good again. Chiriches fully deserved the man of the match award as well. delighted with that performance - should go into Saturday's game on a high.

    Couldn't watch for the last 20 minutes - no good for the old ticker. Instead I followed my twitter feed.

    Great result and will happily be able to watch MOTD tonight.

    We were under the cosh for the first 20 mins, and the last 20 mins, but we defended very well, and rode our luck a bit at times, but it was a great performance.

    Early days for Sherwood, but so far we're not just going gung ho, we are attacking with purpose, still passing the ball well, and defending properly. Dawson has looked much better, and confidence throughout the team seems very good.

    Excellent result and I am pleased we are looking a lot more solid defensively. Apart from being asleep as Man U re-started after our second goal, a good performance by all the players.
