Seriously, have you tried that Mr Muscle stuff that comes in two bottles that get mixed as you pour it down the plughole? That worked a treat in my shower drain which was full of stinky old soap from the previous owners.
OP wants a natural fix, I got a wire* thing from a DIY shop, it has a lump of metal on one end, push that down the plug hole, keep pushing the wire down until it has gone past the U bends. If the sink was blocked, the water should be gone by now.
I use a blocked sink as a time to use the plunger, the gunk that comes out of the kitchen sink is always black and :eek: then I use bleach for a while.
* it is about 30mm wide, very bendy.
edit, the pound shop orange bottle is not very enviro friendly, but it does the job in a scorched earth way. I stopped buying it when the shop stopped keeping it .
