and it only gets used a couple of times a month (mainly 'cos I can't buy any bloody chips for it!!!!)

Don't you do anything else in it?

I use mine to make pineapple fritters.

They're delicious covered in maple syrup.

and cutting them into chips takes no time at all!

Especially if you've got a chopping machine.

Yes, I'm afraid so. But in my defence, I live alone and it only gets used a couple of times a month (mainly 'cos I can't buy any bloody chips for it!!!!)

    Lol !

You remind me of someone I used to share a house with when I was a student. That's the sort of thing he'd do.

He never used to change his sheets until the end of term when he'd take them home to be washed. He told us he used to slide about in them and even fell out of bed once because they'd got so greasy and shiny.

I'd probably still just use a knife... too lazy to get the chopping machine dirty. :D

I know. I doubt whether he actually fell out of bed but that's the story he used to tell us all :D

Oh no, I'm very good with washing! I only ever wear boxers once and change my bedding once a week (give or take!)

*edit - when I say once, I mean before washing them! I'm not like the Prince of Wales in Blackadder!

Problem is they cost less than £30 so I tend to throw them out after 6 months and buy a new one!

(Christ I really am sounding lazy now!!! Can you tell I'm a batchelor?!)

Does that mean you don't change the oil for 6 months?

Many people have felt the same and then kicked themselves for not going sooner.
