It's probably as big a sign that you're not middle class as shopping at Iceland.

I don't shop at Iceland. Only time I went there was when I bought a bag of sweets before going the pictures. No the pictures close to there has closed down for some timew now :(

I probably wouldn't mind buying the frozen puddings from Iceland but NO! I like decent food thanks and not some microwaveable crap. Thanks.

Yes. I was actually going to put "mint vienetta" but I thought I would be broader. You know.. people will complain they prefer the vanilla/chocolate flavour instead.

I just find it quite "middle class". Nothing wrong with this. Just what I feel.

Hate it. And Arctic Roll. My mum always bought that crap and just the thought of it is making me feel a bit queasy!:(

Worst thing in the world though is baked rice.

Baked rice isn't really 'puddingy' is it?

Vienetta is about as middle class as Ferrero Rocher! Any old Tom, Dick or Harriet can afford it these days.

What if they filled the middle of an Arctic Roll with Vienetta? Not the mint one, jam and mint is not a recipe for success, but other flavours of Vienetta are available.

I'm no expert. But I'm pretty sure anything that KFC used to give away with a bucket of ****ing chicken isn't middle class.

My mum seemed to think it was, dunno exactly how it was made but think it was rice and milk baked in the oven.....it would end up with a sort of burnt layer in top:eek::cry:

Suffice to say, my mum wasn't a good cook.:D

You have to go with what you feel, that is important in life especially with Vienetta.

I had no wish to diss your post with my inclusion of mint :o my apols if I did

Eeeeew vile Vienetta. I used to be sick when KFC gave you one with their bucket, instead of a bottle of fizzy.

Oh my, Mateus Rose, that takes me back.:D

There was this man who was rather fond of me but I wasn't interested. But I agreed to go out for a meal if my two friends could come.
We got very drunk on Mateus Rose, too drunk to go home to either my friends or my house.

We ended up sleeping in the barn at the stables where we kept our ponies.
    15 eh, shocking.

The Vesta paella was quite nice, the vienettas were bigger and the mateus rose bottles looked good with a candle stuck in the top :D

    Gawd, showing me age :o

So long as you didnt smoke players number 10 and set the barn on fire I guess you would be safe enough :D:D:D
