How did it work with deadlock vs flash vote?

This is the first result show i have watched. Was wondering how it worked the last few weeks if the judges took it to deadlock? With the whole new flash vote thing.

    They couldn't. If they had tied the person who lost the flash vote was eliminated.

    There's no Flash vote now. The least votes tonight would have lost it. Dunno why the flash vote is gone though I quite liked that.
