Fanny Staines :D - noticed the name when transcribing censuses. Thankfully, it wouldn't have had the same meanings in the 1850s.

From a gravestone I've seen, my fave is Wormley Spinks.

Was watching Animal Planet the other day one of those American animal rescue shows, and one of the blokes being filmed was called Randy Farmer. Which made me laugh cos I'm childish.

I noticed a gravestone of Arthur Onion

I used to do a job where I began by helping people to complete an application form, details, names and relationship to self

I too had a Mr Onion, but he insisted that it was Mr O nyon pronounced like Orion. :D

One day I asked Mr Brown if someone else lived with him. He said "yes"
Me - Surname Him - "Brown",
    Me - First name - Him - "****" (I draw a breath),
Me - Relationship to self -Him " best friend". (his dog) :(:)

Finally an elderly lady , recently widowed.
    Me - Surname -Her "Dickie"
Me - First name - Her "Ophelia"

Me - "okay, I just need a different pen".

Funny! Did he insist that it was pronounced differently to its spelling?

    Depressed cupboard cheese cake.

There was this paralegal named f*cky...I asked when I called how to spell it just to make sure I was hearing her right and indeed it was f*cky. It's also pronounced exactly how you'd think.

Gugliel-Mucci, I thought to be an amusing surname, when I read it as the name of someone else at my old school.
