    You were 5 :eek::D

    I think I was 5, nope - it came out in cinema in 1987, so maybe home video in 1987/88, so I'd have have been 4. Same with Terminator etc, I watched them all with my dad.

    I don't think I knew what was actually happening, but I enjoyed them.

    Infact my parents never really stopped me watching any films, had all the nightmare on elm streets before I was 10. They mainly stopped me watching "sexy" films, I was 13 and they didn't let me go to the Full Monty in the cinema, I had to wait till it was out on video and then I got it - as in me and my dad were ill, my dad literally shit himself watching it laughing, then it got passed to me when they had finished it!

    I didn't share the same fate luckily!

    Hahah!

    I had them all taped off Sky Movies Gold at the time, plus I'd rented them all out the video shop, I laughed my whole way through the first one!

    Was gutted when we rented Freddys Dead: The Final Nightmare, and it had no 3D glasses with it!!

    Watched the remake the other week, it seemed to cram bits in from all 7 films, wasn't the best.

    We never had the movie channels :( Just the sports etc...

    My favourite Freddy film was part 3. Myself, my mum, her friend and her son went to the Isle Of White when i was like 10. We went in this little junk shop and it had ex rental videos in it. My mum said i could have 2 (they were a 5er each) i chose Jaws 3 and had to beg for A Nightmare On Elm 3 --- In the end she gave in, i was soooo happy. Still have that video to this very day :D

    3 had Laurence Fishburne in it, and was one of my faves as well. You must not be that much older than me then.
