I have been watching a lot of American tv shows lately and then at the weekend I started watching an online cooking shows (Hilah Cooking) which is hilarious and she made Chicken Fried Steak which looked lovely.
I made that with jacket potato, garlic mushrooms and corn on the cob.
Can't say I would bother again, as I prefer normal steak.
Mezze food tonight, grilled halloumi, artichoke, roasted tomatoes, tzatziki and some homemade focaccia.

We're having Involtini di melanzane (stuffed, rolled slices of aubergine, in this case stuffed with cheese, raisins and pine nuts, covered in passata, with some basil, and baked in the oven, topped with mozzarella), with roasted cubed potatoes and onion.

I've got some mince beef out of the freezer, maybe cottage pie. But then again, it's a lovely day so I don't feel like anything too stodgy and I have no carrots here anyway. Maybe some tacos or something instead

I've only been one for 31 years! Although I tend to just say I don't eat fish or meat because of all the 'gotcha' merchants.
