  You would need to transfer the original library to the mac most likely.

  Do you mean from my Windows laptop? how would I be able to do that please.

  Copy the iTunes folder in Music on the Windows laptop to a USB drive and then paste it into the Mac's Music folder. If all goes well, you shouldn't need to resync all your music and other files back to the iPhone as it will think it's still on the Windows laptop.
