Voting for the DS DANCING ON ICE AWARDS 2012 is now officially OPEN!!! Thanks to those who gave feedback on my original proposal to do an awards, I've decided to keep it fairly straightforward, and I hope that this will be popular. There are a few rules but not too many!
There are 12 categories, please vote for your favourite person (or routine) in each. Most of the categories are self-explanatory, but for a few that aren't I've given some help at the bottom. Please PM me or reply in this thread if you have a question to ask!

Best Skating Couple -
Best Male Celebrity Skater -
Best Female Celebrity Skater -
Best Male Professional Skater -
Best Female Professional Skater -
Best Non-Skater -
Best Newcomer -
Most Improved Contestant -
Person Who Deserved To Do Better -
Best Performance of the Series -
Sexiest Male -
Sexiest Female -
The Non-Skater category is for judges, presenters etc. The newcomer category is for new pro skaters, judges etc. 'Person Who Deserved To Do Better' is a category for a celebrity who you think should have stayed in the show for longer, who had the potential to achieve more.
For 'Best Performance of the Series', please give the names of the skating couple and the song they performed to if you can. Only routines featuring the competing celebrities will be counted in this category, i.e. not professional routines. However, if you want to vote for a showcase routine, a skills test performance or a celebrity Bolero, that's OK.
You have until midnight on Saturday 7th April to vote. I will accept your votes either if you post them in this topic, OR if you PM me. Please don't try and do both - I will check the names and if you try to vote twice your votes won't be counted (but you may still be charged)!
I hope to have the results online on Easter Monday, but will confirm this nearer the time. Have fun and make your votes good ones!
