If characters had jobs outside of the square/street/village where could you see them? CS: Eva - beauty dept in Debenems. Sally - Waitrose. Sean - Bar on Canal Street. Roy - train station.

    Emmerdale - Sean- stock room in JD Sports (Saturday job) Robbie - McDonalds or KFC, Andy - Modeling underwear for Armani.

    Diane - Counsellor/Agony Aunt type in the local paper.
    Cain - The Army.
    Megan - Marketing Executive.
    Robbie - On the dole for the majority of the year but then a Christmas temp for Santa around Christmas.
    Lisa/Laurel - Amazon (packers).
    Leyla - Pole dancer
    Kerry - Hairdresser.
    Declan - would probably still be a business man.

    Nah, private investigation is definitely Diane's forte. I bet she'd do a lot of rowing in her spare time. She could make Team GB with her oaring skills.

    Billy - Part time in a supermarket, but can't get any more hours so has to resort to paid surveys to supplement his income.

    Ian Beale - would run a string of businesses in various other locations, vastly increasing his customer base. IRL expansion would be something he'd be passionate about

    Max & whoever invests in the car lot - would open in a more viable location where they actually GET customers on a regular basis. Seriously, how do they stay open? They seem to get one customer per month!
