I never tane the Sky Sports package via BT TV with Youview + that only has Sky Sports 1 and 2.
Its a shame that the likes of Eurosport only have the first few rounds live and not the whole of the US Open.
I'm going out tomorrow evening so will miss some of the tennis on Eurosport.
I hope Andy Murray will do well and I wish him all the best for the US Open.
If you try to record the channel you are able to record 3 of the interactive red button streams, trouble is, you have no idea which one as the description didn't say, and why only a choice of 3 and not all of them?? Seems a little pointless
Actually it's the last 3 courts??? Courts 5,11 and 13. I wonder if the idea was to offer all of them and it's not worked? It seems like a strange set of options otherwise
I always enjoy this tournament on sky I just wish they had commentary on outside courts
Agreed. Not sure whats the point tbh, without commentary I find it very hard to watch. Same with the court choices from Masters Events. Surely there must be a World Feed/Host Feed they can take?

I missed the opening on Sky, what do you mean "SSNHQ Style?"
how SSNHQ looks, at the bottom it said order of play,, on the side it said what was on Red button untill they went to live action..

and i agree should be comm on all feeds...
Ahh ok. Are they still hosting from the platform by the practice courts?
Must admit I did fear - what with the cuts going on elsewhere at Sky - That Buckland et all may be presenting from the cupboard at Sky Studios. Fortunately that hasn't happened for this year at least.

yea still onsite..
but great for Eurosport to have a presenter and pundit.. they dont normally for the us open..
The Sky Studio position isn't as good as previous years. Its lower down and a bit cramped, almost as if they're now sharing the area. Not keen on the information L bars either.
No announcement yet re next year - though current contract was signed pretty late - 3 year deal for 2013/4/5 was only signed in May 2013.
Must be under threat - especially given BT's recent win of Australian cricket.
US Open tennis and US PGA Championship (expires 2016) are now the only remaining notable Sky rights which expire before 2018 - assuming SANZAR has been / will be renewed.

I don't know. But if true, the U.S. Open is doing worse than the other Grand Slams in terms of providing numbers of streamed courts.
It is just that only 7 are offered to Sky etc etc
pundit is Miles Maclagan
over on sky its the normal lot
Marcus,Greg,Annabel

Yes they do, normally its Rob Curling who presents with Virgina Wade.
If you sit through the American duo on Armstrong they just talk for ever and ever
The Commentary free courts are Fantastic
you sounded like big John Mc there lol
