I read this story today and I can't get it out of my mind

It happened very close to where I grew up and the thought of someone being so evil is just unbelievable.
Heard the mum got 15 years today - what a joke. She will probably be in solitary and have a fairy cushy life compared to what she put her son through.
I think its high time drug addicts were not allowed children unless they can prove they are fit. These stories seem to happen far too often.

She doesn't deserve the title of mother and I would willingly rip the womb out of the bitch, so she never, ever has the chance to reproduce again. :mad: Hopefully her sentence will do that.
I can't begin to imagine the short, miserable existance that little baby must have had. Like others, it should never have been allowed to have happened. Where the hell was everybody? GP, Health Visitor, family, friends, neighbours??

It's a mystery how the mummified remains of her baby were found in it's cot. Certainly it seems the Mother did no wrong. Maybe she simply forgot she had a child?
