    Oh Son's I love him to bits but I love so much more seeing him in the arms of my son or his wife, I'm filling up now :o:)

    I cannot wait for him smiling and all that...........I have ordered books for him, beautiful coloured story books :p

    The teachers biggest dispute at the mo is the pension thing, most of those I work with are minted I have to say or appear to be :o

    bet there knee deep in debt! keeping up appperances
    most teachers I have met have Zero clue about how debt works and have been living that way so long its normal to pay 80% of there monthly salary back to the CC companies

    your own kids your to busy keeping your head above water it was rare to just look at them and smile..

    Most of our staff have been in teaching a good while Sons and are established in their lives, they have the latest cars and all that but such lovely people and in truth do not moan about anything.......most are not really up for the strike either if truth be known :o I think some feel that they just should :eek:

    my wife works in a butchers get 30% discount but Aldi beefs better

    You are so completely right Sons and your latter statement I have hopefully considered when with my son and his wife hence the chippy teas :D

    Mine oldest brother was a miner in "84/85" strike my grandfather used to tell us about the 30`s he was a card carrying member of the Communist party and both said the same the only people who win out of strikes are the employers.

    But I do see what you mean too...........I was with someone who was striking and just had my son, it was nigh impossible to make up the money we lost in a reasonable time scale, I hated that situation and they ended up with nothing for all the money they lost. The end was nigh within a few years, what was fairly mighty became less, others created their own business who had once been a part of it..........and I will still say and continue to say that people will always feather their own nests and speak with a forked tongue
