Hi
I'm a new member and don't know if this topic has been covered before. Is it possible to record films from the Freeview channels from the HHD onto my PC and then burn them onto DVD. From what I've read, it seems there might be some form of copy protection that stops you doing this. Also, can files from the HHD when transferred to the PC be converted to MPeg 4 or DIVX by using programmes like Nero.
What I really want to do is to built up an archive of films on DIVX that I can watch on my laptop when I'm away from home.
Can anyone help with this. Many thanks.
