I'm the same and I was thinking I was the only one for a while! Everyone else in my house is so excited for christmas and I'm just... meh... But now since I've listened to some Xmas music and watched some films on the TV, I'm starting to get into the festive mood... Finally. :)

Well christmas is what you make it, you have to put the effort in to get something back.

Not this year! Have been ill for the last week, not been able to get any shoppping, or even put a tree up! I'm hoping to finally get out tomorrow, but it's been a tough week and I still feel lousy and have no energy. My son has volunteered to cook the xmas dinner with me supervising while sitting down, and I plan to let him.

Friends, family, music, drinks, good food, time off work, travel, gifts, work/club/organisation's party, Christmas bonuses...

Same as you... I like the build up the best and find that Christmas Day is a bit of an anti-climax

I volunteered to do it for my parents any my sister and her family but they're all under strict instructions to stay out of the kitchen and let me get on with it.

    Agreed.

I still get excited about Christmas. Over the years the reason for the excitement has changed from being a kid and awaiting Father Christmas, to being in my teens/twenties and the parties to now producing that excitement for my son.

I have great memories of Christmas' through the years to carry with me the rest of my life.

Why would you have six guinea pigs if their sound annoys you so much?
