Bananaman movie for 2015

DC Thomson recently launched a website hinting at a bananaman movie for 2015!
I remember running down the stairs most morning when I was about 4 or 5 hoping bananaman was on the TV... Cracking cartoon.
I am actually a little excited about this! I presume it will be an animated movie, although a live action bananaman would be AMAZING!

Yeah thats a very good shout.
I was watching the 80's tv show on DVD just now and watching the episode 'The banana kid' and they must of thought about a movie about him in the 80's as there was a gag made about it!

Be interesting to see if there's a large enough audience for these older characters. Postman Pat - The Movie, is released on 23 May 2014. Yep, this is genuine!

I actually used to get these guys mixed up. But I remember the Bananaman creeping me out a bit as a child. He had a sinister look to him.
I can't see how this movie would be a success though or who it would be marketed to. It's an offbeat comedy, of which there aren't many of in the superhero genre.
