As.. er.. strange as it is to think about, not all - but a sizable amount of 14 year olds are already having sex; and a lot of them look older than they are - alarmingly.
Morally I think you could adopt the higher ground on the basis the laws are there for child protection, but if she was up for it - and Doris is the only onlooker, there is nothing/nobody else left it's all a bit of a non-point.
Obviously the whole thing is obviously a hypothetical thought experiment - and it will never happen

OP, perhaps you should stage a duel with this person, as you seem to be thinking along the same lines. Have you both been given a tip on the future of the world?
Oh, well if I'm hypothetically 38 with a ticking biological clock, I'd wait until the 14 year old was older, because that's just wrong. But there's loads of people my age going out with 14 year olds - my friend went out with one for a year last year.
Is the question the same for women? A 14 year old boy or a 74 year old man? I would either go back to the teenager in a couple of years if he was attractive or simply not bother with either (and hope they felt the same way!)
Then you'd have to go with the 74-year old, as she'd at least have her state pension to help with the bills. A 14-year old is only likely to have pocket money or the income from a paper round, & they might need that for their school lunches.
I'm assuming that by "tightness" you mean their spending power. That is what you meant, isn't it? :eek:

I don't think fourteen year olds are ready for sex.
So, bringing your example into a modern day context:
if you could get away with it and the girl was consenting- you would have sex with them.
