Not a patch on the first years episode. I yearn for the days of Kirstie Alsopp and Melanie Sykes getting pissed and Alisha Dixon talking about anal sex. This one is dull and boring in comparison.

It's more embarrassing than funny, isn't it?

This is the best thing I could find across 300+ channels...

No wonder people go out and get plastered on NYE....

I agree. It's way too staged. Mel should be there :'(

The first time they did this show the guests all got steaming drunk and there was some very amusing catty sniping between Alan and Gok Wan going on throughout the programme. Has it now been pre-recorded and 'declawed' so to speak?:(

Its a new years eve party and they get the personality vacumes of Ben Cohen and Abby Clancey ? Even Emma Willis is too "prime time" to let her hair down anymore. Cronic poor guests tonight. What happened to everyone getting pissed.

But do agree about Mama Mia - leave it on ITV2 where it belongs!

Ben Cohen is clinically deaf, I think it makes him difficult to take part in stuff like this. He really is a fantastic person regardless.

What's odd is that despite being absolutely crap as a stand up, Sean Walsh was the only one to come out of that with any self respect. He treated it with an irreverent sense of humour and a glazed look of absolute boredom in his eyes. Hysterical.

I cannot bear AC and wouldn't watch it if I was paid. There is something very creepy about him and I don't think he is funny at all.

I steered away from this programme as there was no way I wanted to say that this was the way I brought in the New Year, but oh lord, Keith Lemmon... he's as appealing as vomit.

It was all very "channel 4".

How most CH4 comedy/light entertainment is nowadays I mean, faux shocking and embarrassing.
