The only thing good about this at the moment is Christine plus the dry comedy from the MFL teacher.

I swear Angus Deaytons character is basically Grantly.

Also, money on 'her' daughter and 'his' son getting together?

My exact thoughts, right mix of darker and lighter stories. It just shows how utterly ***** Series 9 was in general.

Tried to get into it tonight as I stopped watching for a long while after Tom and Grantly died but it's still incredibly dull, if not even worse than before. Very uninteresting and I notice certain elements are still being rehashed with different characters in a very unoriginal way. There's genuinely nothing interesting about Waterloo Road anymore.

I'm actually glad it's ending. It feels bizzarely odd and off than ever before. *Goes back to CBS Drama for Rochdale*

I agree, but Deayton's character is much worse than Grantley. Horrible little man.

I really enjoyed tonight's episode, despite it being so far-fetched. All that happening one day? .... I don't think so.
