Whoever said the BBC are ignoring the PDC Worlds is talking garbage aren't they ? Live on 5 Live and also on front page of BBC website plus its been on all their sports bulletins on BBC News Channel.
Now lets see how much Sky Sports News dedicate to the BDO worlds
Are Sky a rights holder of any BDO tournament? No, so of course there won't be much/any coverage on Sky Sports News.
If the BBC hadn't negotiated rights to the final then they would not be giving nearly as much coverage as they have been.

Of course they would. Remember if it doesn't happen on Sky it didn't happen. Sky barely gave mention to Andy Murray winning Wimbledon.
Funnily enough I was watching Sky News yesterday and they were talking about Ruth Jones getting an MBE. They mentioned she was creator and star of Stella but no mention at all of Gavin and Stacey. Nobody worse than Sky at ignoring events/shows that they didn't show.

BBC always mention the PDC online and on air
To be fair, a lot of the Sky darts pundits have been mentioning the Lakeside tournament. You never heard anything about it on Sky "Football" News though.
Although, they DID mention Murray winning Wimbledon, quite a lot if memory serves me right, especially having that breaking news ticker at the bottom.
Agree with you about the "If it's not on Sky, it never happened". Can't remember Sky mentioning the Rugby League World Cup when it was being played. Was the same in Australia with Channel 9.

Sky only mention the BDO when it matters to them. Without the BDO Raymond van Barneveld is a 1 time world champion and even Taylor can knock 2 off his title.

Well Bristow in the past has said that he didn't recognise the BDO but then changed his tune when people said he would be a 0 time world champion.
How can players get into the game properly when there's an ad break every 5 minutes disrupting the game, so annoying. You'll never get a classic again unless players are on the stage longer.

Snakebite being dismantled here, far too many missed doubles, not that he's had that may attempts, MvGs cover shooting has been outstanding, can't see anything other than a landslide victory from here.

Actually scrap that, the DAB broadcast is about 5 seconds ahead of the sky broadcast!

I disagree.
er no!!
the classic games have all had ad breaks..
Could be 3-0 shortly and 4-0 before long!
Anything to get away from Groves :kitty:
Just hasn't brought the game he's been playing all tournament to this match.
It's quite good when they switch to the camera above the board and darts start flying out of the screen.
Crowd shots look pretty good too.
