Well done Bouchard - finally over the SF hump.

I wanted Halep to win, but her biggest strengh was scuppered by that ankle sprain.

See you in Flushing Meadows Simona. :)

Jamie is so much more laid back than Andy.

Just came home to the new Bouchard beat Halep in the semi final.:( Awful result, and I hope Simona is ok after her injury.

I can't stand the Bouchard hype and the BBC love in, eugh please make it stop. I bloody hope Petra has her game on and thrashed Bouchard in the finals. I couldn't think of anything worse than an arrogant brat winning the title.

...................yes but he hasn't got as much weight of expectation on his shoulders. Iv no doubt doubles players work extremely hard but it does seem a far more relaxed "job" than the business of singles. In fact, if you happen to be successful it seems a nice kind of life wandering around the world being half noticed and defining the art of having a conference after every point :D

hmm there's just something about Bouchard that I can't warm to....
It's like she's too mechanical like a robot in every sense from her game to her personality....just doesn't seem to be any emotion from her or something

.....looks like the next 15 years might be very long ones for you :D

Cant see her going away very quickly.

Are there attendance figures anywhere? Seems to have been an awful lot of empty seats this year and not just from the zelebs and corporate fat cats stuffing their faces in hospitality.

Eugenie is a tennis goddess, also fan girling over Fed rather than Nadal so good taste as well.

Haha tell me about it, might have to buy a pair of durable ear plugs.

If they're going to bang on about someone it should be Simona, as well as being a great talent with a bright future, she seems grounded and not completely full of herself.

Bouchard is the next media darling, its going to be hell putting up with that crap. :p

FFS John Lloyd is the last person to ask about insights into Andy's game. He knows nothing.

Why can't BBC accept that Andy played badly and Grigor played really well. Why does there have to be a conspiracy about it?

edit: add Virginia Wade to the list of last people to give insight into Andy's performances.
