It always happened like that, but after leaving 10 and11, The War Doctor won;t remember any of the time he spent with them, and 10 forgot when he left 11 so outside of the time they just spent together, all the Doctor's up until now believe that events took place as we the audience were told.:(
I think the way it seem to go is that when different incarnations are together, the later incarnation only remembers experiencing those events from the earlier incarnation's point of view as they are happening, and the earlier incarnation only remembers the events of their encounter for it's duration.
However he didn't, he found a way of saving it but only Matt's Doctor and any future Doctor will remember saving it.
JH, CE & DT Doctor's will still think that they destroyed Gallifrey and the previous Doctor's to this will not remember any of the events of this episode.

Why would JH's doctor ever think that he destroyed Gallifrey? He didn't, and then he regenerated

Because he was going to. He got the weapon, found a nice, secluded area to use it and then set about trying to detonate it. He forgot the events that followed.
Why wouldn't he think he destroyed Gallifrey if it, and the Daleks, were gone when he regenerated?
What does this mean for Rassilon and the time-lock stuff. That's the bit I don't get.
Exactly would why The Doctor now be trying to find Gallifrey when the last time it was released he did everything in his power to prevent it happening. There seems to be an unsolved confliction.

Maybe that like with some events in Day Of The Doctor he has had 100's of years to work out what to do so can bring them back but stop them from destroying everything last time he only had moments to work out a plan

So what happens if the Time Lords who one day come out of that snapshot in time, go back in time and cross into one of the previous Doctors timelines?
Why did JH regenerate right then though? He wasnt wounded or killed.
My personal theory is that The War Doctor was created to end The Time War so once his mission was complete a Warrior was no longer needed but A Doctor was so he regenerated.
Who knows maybe that was part of the potion that The Sisters Of Karn gave him that he would automatically regenerate once his mission was over
I think Doctor Who is going to have an amazing 13 episodes in 2014, TDOTD has given the show a whole new angle. Such as we could find out what happened to the Daleks after the Time War as they clearly didn't destroy themselves as the 10th Doctor predicted they would. Also much more Time Lord appearances. All a huge bonus.
Last time they tried to use the earth to regen Gallifrey which would have killed everyone on earth.
The Time Lords High Council planned on killing everyone and escaping their bodies to live beyond those means. Their plan was much bigger than just using Earth, it just happened to be Earth where the Master was. Unless The Master defeated Rasillion and changed the minds of the Council, that plan is still in effect.
Also when Gallifrey does return, you don't think for a second the Daleks wouldn't plan on restarting the War?
Unless of course they think of the simply solution that the Doctor can find it but the Daleks and the rest of the Universe cant.

What state are the Daleks in at the moment?
I thought they were almost wiped out.
I suspect they'll make the Daleks too weak to fight the Time Lords.
But how would the Timelords be trying to get out if they were in that sort of painting situation?
The Doctor still Time Locked the whole war so Gallifrey is still in there from before it was put into a painting (or wherever it was hidden) and the one we saw then was from just a few moments before it was hidden

The problem is, I understand how apart from the Matt Smith Doctor, The Doctor can forget the events of the episode, and be led to believe that the Timelords and Daleks have been wiped out.
But surely there needs to be something put in place there where The Doctor remembers wiping out everything.
Why would The Doctor think that he himself wiped everything out?
The Doctor either remembers pressing the moment weapon button or he doesn't. If The Doctor has been made to forget the events in this episode, then how can he remember pressing that red button if it never happened now?
So the Chris Ecclestone Doctor and David Tennant Doctor will have no recollection of the events of this episode and will still be wracked with guilt.
But why, if they no longer have a memory of being responsible for destroying everything?
Now that things have changed why would The Doctor still think that he wiped out the Timelords and The Daleks in the Timewar if he has no memory of doing so?
He just forgot the multi-doctor shenanigans, so assumed he had done.
That's kinda beside the point.
I mean, from the POV of Matt Smith's doctor, he does know that he can, theoretically, go back in time and fix anything and the only repercussion might be that he won't remember doing it.
Also, I'm not completely sure how that works either.
I mean, just cos you don't remember doing a thing, it doesn't really explain how you'd gain a memory of actually doing something else instead.

So he never destroyed Gallifrey ?
Adric was eaten by a T-Rex

Nope.

I think the fact at the end of Day Of The Doctor Hurt was regenerating could also explain this.
Hurt regenerates into Eccleston
So Eccleston then wakes up with a new body and slight amnesia which is not uncommon after a regeneration so naturally assumes that he did it

On the subject of Gallifrey, the Doctor has now created an opening for Rassilon and/or the Master to return.
I think the implication was his body was reacting as if he had unleashed the moment.
Also, it was implied that he body was 'wearing a bit thin',just like the first doctors was during his regeneration.....
