Finding a really good thread that's 22 pages long and more or less, off-topic by the time you get to it.
Spending a long time on a post, then checking back on it later on, only to find that it was the last post on the page and more or less, nobody's read it or quoted from it.
Post grammatically piss poor, illogical drivel that for some inexplicable reason seems to fascinate the whole forum and hangs around forever. when by rights the thread should have been quietly taken out back from the start and humanely put down.

But the daft bugger's so naive and charming you end up liking them anyway and begin to see why people respond to their posts.
