How much would you pay for a haircut

I have hair with a wave and not everyone can cut it good to make it sit the way I want, IM contemplating having a more expensive cut done at Taylor Fergusons, but grudge it in case I dont like it , has anyone any experiences of this salon or any other decent one with hairdressers that listen to you and dont think an inch is three.. and how much is too much to pay for a cut..

Grade 2 is very short. Why not just go bald?

But there's no point in hair that length, you can't do anything with it. Might as well draw it on.
If I am looking for a new hairdresser then I look for someone with a good haircut in a fashion that I like and ask them who they use. I found 1 guy when a girl at work came in one day with all her hair chopped ansd she looked great, he was my hairdresser until I moved away. I struggled here to find one that understood my hair, wavy and thick, but not wild and understood me. I am late 30s but am still a funky chick and want hair reflecting that but not mutton dressed as lamb!
I have a friend who is lovely although a bit plain looking. She walked up to me one night with a new trendy do and she looked amazing. I was like, ooh that´s my new hairdresser. He has never let me down for the last 3 years. Funny as he only used to live 1 street away from me back in Manchester.
I have never found a cheapie local salon that suits me though, they just aren´t as up to date with trends for me. You might get lucky but I pay now 130 euros for a cut and highlights. Worth it to look great and i always get compliments. I do leave it 3 months between cuts so it´s not that bad.
You don't have to do anything with it, that's the point!

If its a trim around £15, I always get a wash though, I cant do dry cuts as my hair is quite thick and very dry.
A specialist will always check your hair is being done properly by the student and you don't get any of the pretentious types you might find in higher end places.
However, it is the only hair-salon that actually do my ahir the way I want it done.
I've gone to various other salons & it's never done how I ask for it to be done.
I remember once, I went to a salon & asked for my hair to be trimmed slightly at the ends (not cut, just trimmed) & I came out with a hairstyle like this - except mine was shorter & not as shiny. I've know idea what way she cut my fringe but it was in an arched shape & horribly short. I actualy cried when I saw it, it was beyond awful.
I went to meet my mother in town after I'd finished in the hair-dresses & she cried when she saw my hair.
My Mum went back to the salon that evening & explained to the manager what had happened & all she said was " there's nothing we can do" - neither myself nor my mother got so much as an apology for it.
I have never, ever gone back to that salon since & neither has my Mum. A lot have people have said, they left the particular salon because 99% of the time, the hair-stylists/dressers, never did the customers hair the way the customers asked for it to be done. I don't know how that salon is still open for business, it's always quiet whenever my mother or I go past it.
I'd rather pay more money & have my hair done properly, instead of paying cheaply & having it done in a way I don't want it done.
PS: I am NOT saying cheap salons are no good, there are a lot of places cheaper than my air-dressers, but I'm not willing to take the risk of having my hair done in a way I don't want it done, either in a cheap or expensive salon.
Used to go to a local salon where the owner couldn't keep her mouth shut about anyone's business - and if you fell out with her you wouldn't know you had until after she cut your hair - she butchered both mine and my daughter's hair - horrid woman - needless to say we never went back and certainly weren't shy in telling folk why - it was surprising how many others had suffered at her hands - her reputation is preceding her now
How much??????? I paid £21 last week and it had been a whole year since my last one.
It took me ages to find a hairdresser I love, so am really happy with this.
Husband has her as well, and his is £30 every 6 weeks
No chat, no latte, in and out in less than 15 minutes (as opposed to nearly an hour)
