Some of the comments on Andy murrays twitter are vile, evil and disgusting . EVERYBODY who voted today did it for their own reasons, whether yes or no . To wish someone dead ,for making their choice ,not your choice or my choice but their bloody own choice is a disgrace!!!!!!!!

I must admit it was poor judgement on Andy's part to post that tweet. He should have left his opinion to himself.

No, he's perfectly entitled to his opinion. I don't agree with him but don't feel the need to hurl abuse at him over it.

Why? Bob Geldof, Eddie Izzard and LOTS of other celebrities have made their opinions clear.

How is it poor judgement? He has a right to voice his opinion and the fact that he is Scottish makes it all the more important.

Why? He's perfectly entitled to his opinion and has every right to voice it.

There was one tweet in particular that I was absolutely disgusted by.

Also shows that there are nasty abusive idiots on both sides of the debate and it's not just confined to the Yes campaign as people had been suggesting.

All that support he gained and love and he spits it back at the people's faces.

Having a personal opinion is spitting in people's faces? Have a word with yourself!

Most of the celebs who have voiced an opinion do not have a vote, he is no different to them

Said he was British. He only said it for PR. It's been PR for years with him. And I like him.

I quite liked Sir Bob's quote

"Born in Ireland, Geldof said he had an 'immigrant's gratitude' to the union to which he owed 'everything'.

‘I keep hearing that one of the main reasons we’re having this argument is that the Scots are fed up with Westminster,' he told crowds.

‘I’d like to tell them we’re all f******* fed up of Westminster.’"

Personally I would prefer the status quo but it's Scotland's decision.

    SO true!!
Most of the celebs who have voiced an opinion do not have a vote, he is no different to them

I know that, I just wondered if the said twitter criticised his 'vote', not his opinion.

He was and is rubbish at PR. He's a talented tennis player but I never see him doing well in the diplomatic service!! :D:D:D

I like him as a tennis player too!! :)
