    its SIOUXSIE sioux.... :)

arguably our most iconic female artist, her unique (well it was then!) appearance and sound spawned (by accident) the 'goth' movement and is a massive influence on the early indie sound.

i cant praise ms bannion enough although i dont personally rate much of her work, i recognise the influence shes had on music.

That would be pronounced Susie Susie and that would be a ridiculous name even for a pop star. Ah, the young have much to learn.

I once dressed up as Siouxsie for a fancy dress party and everyone told me I was her spitting image. Boy, was I chuffed. Though not conventionally beautiful, she had so much style.

she always seemed to dress in black and white too...
Think like Billy, she s hopped it... to South of France .. and Billy Idol to LA.

Our most unique rock band we ever produced. Criminally under-rated and I wont even use the dreaded 'G' word, as its a lazy way to describe their sound, which, if anything was exotic. The one sad thing about Siouxsie is how her voice has diminished, but then, she always gives her all live, and she's toured the world many times over. Hope one day she writes an autobiography as shes led a very interesting life & still retains her mystique.:)

Great band. Spellbound still sends shivers up my spine whenever I listen to it (or even think about it!)

Siouxsie was an early crush and was probably responsible for the fact that I still find Goth girls attractive even now.

Saw them on the Nocturne tour with Robert Smith on guitar at Manchester, and just bought the Nocturne DVD last week. Hugely influential band and the work she and Budgie did as the creatures was great too. Shame they split.

Every year I love Robert Smith more and detest her tenfold... I bet she really regrets that swastika now :(
