Because i do even if series 5 was abysmal, i put that down to writing, not matt smiths ability.
infact jon pertwee was better than tenant, so was tom baker and perhaps mccoy!
hell, even paul mcgann made more of an impression on me.
what is this obsession with tennant and some fans who claim they 'havent watched since he left'
overrated.

And ofcourse he's a lot better. I blame the badness on Moffat. Matt and Karen is what kept it good.
Noticed your location, have you considered a change of scenery?
Tennant and Smith's Doctor's both have good and bad points.
For instance all the crying from Tennant's Doctor in the End of time was annoying and when Smith's Doctor act's like a child and does silly babyish things is annoying aswell and they are the bad points that both Doctors have but apart from that they're very good.
McCoy suffered from some poor writing. But this was improving and given a fourth series would probably have nailed it.
Mcgann only had the one 'Americanised' episode (and he was only in half of that) so never had the opportunity to develop the character further.
Colin Baker was forced to wear the worst costume ever and was blamed for the programmes lack of success in his second series. However the truth is the writing, direction and production were to blame.
So, in all, I think the Doctor has always been successfully cast.
As for Matt Smith, yes, forced to compare him to Tennant I would have to say Matt is the better Doctor. His age still bothers me a little but his acting and protrayal is excellent. He's probably the best since Tom Baker if I'm honest, and I've been watching the program since 1973.
I concur.
OP you either don't read this forum at all, or you just wanted to drop a little present to rile the geeks.
I think I remember your username from before. Did you not start a thread on "what is the gay agenda" last year?
Having said that the whole point of the Doctors is that they're all different personalities and people will have different opinions of them and sometimes prefer some to others.
Its been over two years ... cut it loose!
I preferred Tom Baker to David Tennant and wish he was still doing it!:D

And that's just the ones I could find, I'm sure there are many others out there!
:D:D:D
Awww...you treat them like they were your children.
Methinks obsession can be shown in many ways, whether you're a fan or not......
You've far too much time Davey:D:D:D
I like them both. I've always liked them both. Why do I even have to prefer one over the other?
Yes I did
I genuinly didn't know what the gay agenda was though!! I did try asking in other threads but Noone answered so started 1 instead.
And no I hardly ever visit the doctor who forum. Only when I'm in the mood
WUM.
Does anyone else think the Labour Party is better than the Conservative Party?
Does anyone else think that green Smarties are better than red ones?
Does anyone else think that Catholicism is better than Protestantism?
Some questions will never be definitely answered.
