  The Writers Guild of Great Britain has nominated Doctor Who for one of its prestigious awards in the Best Television Drama Series category

  
  they then list some of the writers who are part of the team.
  
  It's the show thats nominated rather than the writers...

  aye good luck to Doctor Who, strong category there, though. I would think it will be nip and tuck between DW and Ashes to Ashes....

  This is good news, especially since the nomination of DW along with Ashes to Ashes and Being Human may encourage UK networks to make
  more sci-fi/fantasy dramas. :cool:
