I thought was AMAZING !!!! if he had tried to perform it anything like MJ I would have ripped it to pieces......but I thought his rendition was excellent & so original, & I( think this guy should change nothing.....he reminds me of Bryan Ferry.

I loved it! Really great version and I think people are being really unfair on him. It was a completely different version of the song but it worked really well.

I thought he sounded awful. He was struggling with it, just like he did with the John Lennon song the other week.

It was a horrible take on a classic song.

Sometimes stripping a song back works like Mad World, but Thriller isn't that sort of song. The lyrics don't have enough depth, and the version can't be taken ironically like Hit Me Baby One More Time.

It just didn't work, and was like he was doing it for the sake of it.

Aiden went to the pinnochio school of singing. Never seen somebody so wooden in my life.

It was just a 'Mad World' version of Thriller. Nothing else.

I saw less wood in my woodworking class (I was going to say something else but its too rude for here)

I though it was a very fresh version. His voice shined in it.

It was brilliant. Had the performance resembled MJ's it would have been tragic, and this time I was able to watch all the way through:D

I didn't mind the arrangement of it. It could have been very strong but I took issue with the instability of his voice.

If he had managed to rein it all in it would have been brilliant.

He obviously isn't appealing to the xfactor audience, personally i think he's amazing and will be liked by non xfactor fans

I think I "got him" for the first time tonight. I stopped thinking about the faults of his singing & listened to his performance & it actually wasn't bad.

I really enjoyed the performance and think Aiden is amazing. One of the stand outs tonight for me. Although I totally get he's not going to everyone's cup of tea.

At least he's doing something different. The backing music is always changed up for Danni's acts, she really knows what she's doing. Look at Belle Amie their version sounded exactly like the original and the backing track was identical pretty much, whats the point in it if you're not doing something different?
