I wonder how many of the audience Lionel has actually heard of.
I feel it is better to ask how many of the audience has heard
of him.I had a disc way back in 1986-- Say You, Say Me! it's
really lovely-however I thought he looked dreadful on show
last night.I will say though---he sang almost as good as he
did 20 years ago!

Not sure how it could have been 'live' as Linda Robson was in the audience and she'd been on SCD a little earlier which had been live
That's what I noticed and I don't think they are filmed near each other. There was a half-an-hour gap between SCD and An Audience with... so unless she rushed over to the latter, how can it have been live?

I never saw it but that is interesting! Lionel was definatly live, I was going to book tickets for it when i saw them on another site this week & they were for Sat night!

I was really surprised to see him, it took me a while to click the show was about him! I liked the video clip og Hello..looked more like himself in those days..;)

I think it's because his ex-wife has taken him to the cleaners and left him skint
Because he has done some of the best snogs ever.
All Nigh Long is a classic, as well as 3 Times a Lady, Easy as Sunday Morning, his music with the Commadores was great.
Not to mention his part in We Are The World.
Its a shame the audience was full of some dimwits asking some questions I would expect the likes of Vanessa Feltz
