What time do you normally go to bed?

And why?

I normally go to bed at 11pm but don't fall asleep until 1am - because that's when the late evening radio ends. :)

Normally 10pm on weekday nights, and whenever at the weekends.

However, as I now have 2 weeks off, between 3 and 4am.

I snore for England, to the point I'm going to a Sleep Disorder clinic in Bradford soon, so, as we live in a 1 bedroom flat and our settees are both 2-seater, I stay up as long as I can whilst I'm off. This enables my good lady a decent nights sleep as she's up for work at 5.30am.

I've time-shifted my life over the last 6 months so I now sleep between approx. 11.30pm to 6.30am instead of 2.00am to 9.00am

I wish I'd done this years ago...........getting up early is great !

I'm still up now because I'm watching the football and obviously I'm going to have a problem during the world cup........I've got to decide whether to watch the 11pm games which will involve going back to my old routine.......:o

Shortly after ten. I have to be up at quarter to six so I have time to catch my train to Birmingham.

Normally between 3 & 4. No sleep tonight though. Insomnia is PITA.

    Later than I should!

But if I go to bed early, I end up waking at 5am and then not being able to get back to sleep.

Between 10 - 11pm and I always read for at least 30 mins; I absolutely love reading and never get time during the day.

In fact if my current book is particularly unputdownable I have been known to retire at 8.30pm:)

Amazed everyones saying they go to bed so late I thought it was just me! 1-2am is normal, but I feel a freak for admitting it. I imagine for 95% of the UK its somewhere between 10.30pm-12am

9pm - 9.30pm on weekdays, a little later on weekends.

Reason is I have a toddler who doesn't sleep all that well and gets up early.

Depends on my shift the next day; could be anything from 8.30pm to midnight; not great for the body or mind though.

Between 11 and 11.30pm. I can't understand adults who go to bed earlier than that (unless they're on earlies for work, of course).

11 to midnight.Worked shifts a lot of my life and now I am
retired,I can please myself and pretty much sleep 'as and
when' I want to! Generally around 11 though unless I have
a good book,or there is (ha ha!) a good film on telly.

I love the idea of going to bed early and waking up all well rested and serene, but I usually stumble into bed at about 2am on a work/ uni free night.
