My 8000 worked fine through the problem period, as did my 19" Humax TV and Panasonic DVD/VHS recorder. Does anyone know if any other boxes were affected?
Whatever the problem was with the broadcast data seems to have been tweaked or removed late this morning judging by reports elsewhere.

Yes there was, something to do with code the BBC were putting out for their HD service. I think that one only affected Humax 9200s (some reports of other makes being affected), the boxes kept switching to BBC1.
It seems that whatever change was made to the broadcast data that caused the problem yesterday has been tweeked or removed. Yes update on Saturday even though your box is working now.
Just to say I did update on Saturday and my system id is now10.00,26
I have learnt something new, thanks.
And yes it was on 24/7, never read the bit about auto downloads.:o
