Yeh , interesting name for it, sounds like they've gone bust
Black Friday, came from the term to be in the black. In accounting negative values (values below 0) are written in red, so to be in the red means you haven't made any money/lost money, black friday was the day after Thanksgiving when Christmas shopping starts and huge profits which would put retailer's "in the black."
yeh i understand the red and black in accounting. They really should have called it Red Monday in 1987 then.
Thanks for posting anyway OP, seems like some bargains to be had from comfort of my armchair.
- Over 60% off Nintendo Wii Consoles
- Over 60% off Flip Mino High Definition Camcorders
- Over 60% off Microsoft Xbox consoles
- Canon PowerShot Cameras at less than half price
- Over 60% off Eternity Moment Eau de Parfum
- Over 70% off Pearl Necklaces
- Sony TVs at half price
It's crazy out there, you wake up around 3 or 4 wait in line to get into the stores it's a mass of people. In recent years people have even been trampled while people rush through entrances to get "black friday" deals.
The lines at Best Buy start forming around 9-10pm on Thanksgiving.
What does that matter when everyone benefits?
*childish snigger*
Exactly, I don't care as long as I get a bargain
Does there have to be a post like this in every thread?
You're quite funny today.
There's always one.:rolleyes::D
I could get Bill and Karen something cheap in the 'clearance'.:)
Am I not allowed to comment that its an American invention?
A post like what? I think you could be reading too much into my two words.
Haha gutted
I paid £130 something for it, with the sports thingy as well. I thought that was ok.
I didn't see the sentence "It's an American invention" in your post. The words "How American" are usually dripping with disdain unless they're followed by a question mark.
My neighbour's banned me from using her Wii. I 'endanger the ornaments' apparently.:(:o
You can come over and play with mine.
