    Schoolboy error

Indeed. Richard has disallowed plenty of answers in the past where just one word was wrong so he looked a bit of a prat there.

Two brilliant squads there, very proud moments.

Thought that round was a bit out of order, taking the piss out of Manchester United and Alex Ferguson like that. Consistently one of the three richest clubs in the world and they emphasised the fact that they could only win the European Cup / Champions League a mere twice in AF's 26 year reign.

From the 1999 final squad, the following were bought from elsewhere: Schmeichel, Johnsen, Stam, Irwin, Blomqvist, Yorke, Cole, van der Gouw, May, Greening, Sheringham and Solskjaer. 12 out of 18, 67%.

Strange that Gerry and the Pacemakers were not accepted as a right answer in the 1960's number ones. In the Guinness Book of Hit Singles, they are listed as having 3 number ones in the 60's - How do You Do It (18 weeks) I Like It (15 weeks) and You'll Never Walk Alone(19 weeks)

Indeed, the first and, up until Frankie Goes to Hollywood, the only act to have their first 3 singles go to Number 1. But the question was Number 1 albums not singles.
