Does anyone know when this is due to start or when it will be available on dvd? I remember seeing something somewhere saying January but I can't find it now.

Any help appreciated.

But it was on US TV last year. I know, I saw an episode in October in Orlando. You can go on YouTube and watch snips. It's crazy we have to wait so long.

They don't have the rights to season 4 onwards unfortunately.

    On Twitter earlier today.

For those of you asking, True Blood season 4 starts on FX on Sunday 5th February at 10pm! --fxukcom (@fxukcom)

    That's a better date than expected. :)

It was due to Sky (Atlantic) buying all of HBO's current, upcoming, and back catalogue. Whenever existing HBO deals on other channels ran out, they all reverted to Sky. It's why C4/E4/More4 had S1 & S2 of 'Hung' but Atlantic had S3.

Channel 4 can not seem to keep hold of anything, they lost Glee, Lost now True Blood.

really wish channel 4 would actually keep hold of a series right until the end though doubt they will.

No. FX hold the 'for life' rights to True Blood. So the sky deal doesn't affect them.

If FX hold the 'for life' rights for True Blood then why are Ch4 not showing TB from Season 4 onwards? Has this been confirmed by Ch4 themselves or it just gossip???

FX hold the for life rights on a first run basis... CH4 hold the terrestrial rights for the show... Or they did. But I have found nothing on the internet to suggest C4 are going to stop showing it.

Honestly guys... google is your friend.
