I am going to

:D:D and just peeling myself off the ceiling as I have found out that my hero Ian Waite is going to back on the dancefloor . I may have just died and goine to heaven. May just have to camp overnight to get a front row seat !

She's right, I'd suggest the least the producers could do for a series dance competition would be to get the floor they will be using every week of a uniform quality.
However, I would suspect that the producers wouldn't consider the quality of the floor of particular importance, I mean "it isn't going to make any difference to the ratings, is it?"

It might not be that easy to have such a dance floor that is temporary and one which has to be packed away in pieces & stored then reassembled each week.
