Think we are in one with 16C temps in early March but will possibly drop in a few days.

Not really a heatwave if it lasts less than 5 days.

13ºC here at the moment, pleasantly warm for early March.

30ºC would be nice this summer, it hasn't got that hot here since July 2006.

I wish someone would tell the HVAC system in our office! It can't cope with changes in outside temperature, so it's been 26ºC in here today, which makes me doze off....

I've actually turned the heat off! When I went out for a walk, I felt really hot with my coat on, but couldn't take it off, as I had a manky jumper on.

I dont think it will be a long thread.

Foggy and cold where I am. Same old crappy weather we've endured for ages.

It's bleeping typical, the same happened last Spring, my bitch has just come into season so stuck inside when it's lovely and sunny outside.

It was freezing (literally) early this morning then became very mild towards noon then went back to being very cold again late afternoon - although not as cold as first thing this morning.

It did hit 30ºC a few times in the last couple years but we haven't really had the weather of 2006 where it peaked with about 36ºC for the year. Last year the highest was about 32ºC - in August.

Last March was pretty warm, though it was nearer to the end of the month and the highest temperature throughout that heatwave was 23ºC.

Depends where you are. It was pretty mild here in the Midlands today where I am, only slightly cold wind though it was quite foggy in the distance throughout the day.

I don't think we will see temps like 2003 in the next decade. Wasn't it around 10 days of it being constantly above 33C in August? And we managed to hit the record of 38.5C that week. I think at most we will see 27C this summer, nothing more.

Whereas in Sicily last summer, it was unbearable, during my 13 days there, the temperature did not drop below 39C. And averaged around 42C and hit a high of 45C. Now, that is hot!
