This is the first time I have had to clean a hardwood bench, 9only bought it last year) but I am unsure how to clean it, is it simply a case of using a householde cleaner or will I have to use some other type of cleaner, and as its hardwood will I need to use a re-sealer after cleaning, I hope someone can help

I'd suggest sanding it down a bit then spray or apply with a cloth some appropriate furniture oil.

What's the problem, what has made it dirty? is it bird droppings, mould, fungi, weathering, sun bleaching, airborne dust, or peeling, each has a different remedy
