Interesting interview with John Altman, clearly after the events with Dotty etc because he mentioned how fun the storyline was but he also confirms that he'll be going back to EastEnders at some point but doesn't know when.

Interesting.

Probably when June Brown decides to call it a day,i cant see much point before then unless they do it to keep her sweet.

When they used to have decent writers and story planners, Nick was a great Villain. Some of his best scenes were during the time Dot & Pete had him locked in a room with door & windows boarded when he was going cold turkey. The last couple of returns particularly with Wednesday Adams in tow last time have been farcical to say the least.

Wooden actor in truth and he has had more come backs than Michael Barrymore, hope this doesn't turn out to be true!

Nick should have been killed off during that hilariously crap hostage situation.

He became dull and panto years ago.

He certainly had a better drug addiction storyline than Phil and Sharons "addictions".

That hostage business in the cafe was hilarious! Holding back the police with a bit of wood :D

    Hello ma

Maybe he'll manage to kill Dot this time - it could be her exit.

Dotty sounded like she was in Oliver, about to break in to song.

FFS isn't the show already deep in the shit without bringing this panto villain back for the 612th time:sleep:?

Really hope this won't happen anytime soon, i mean it's only 5 minutes since the wooden Derek Branning left so really don't need the other greasy haired unscary 'bad boy' Nick back to poison Dot again:yawn:!

Yay come back Nick! I know people say he's a wooden actor, but I'd much rather have a wooden actor who is actually a legend and has a lot of history rather than a wooden actor who has no good qualities whatsoever, e.g. Tyler, Joey etc...

    And breathe.

Legend is an overused word in eastenders lately :)

You are very correct :D must have been thinking of one of the other ten million times Nick cotton was in trouble! (Was right about the wood though).

Bit daft really they were all standing outside the cafe for ages trying to get Nick to give himself up or trying to kick the door in, yet not one person thought to call the rozzers :D

It's weird how his acting gets worse as he ages. He was perfectly fine in the very early days of EE, but his last few comebacks have been embarrassing.

Phil Daniels also seems to have the same problem.

Too true. I've heard it used in relation to both Sharon and Cora, and I can't quite figure out why either.
