Can you recall the names of the 4 Houses of your alma mater and what they were named after ?

This might embarrassingly ID my school.

Names of rivers :

Shaggie [Y], Keltie , Barvick [R], Turret [G]

    Carre, Welby, Bristol and Lafford.

Can't remember why except that the founder of the school was called Robert Carre.

I genuinely don't remember. I had no interest in sports or anything so didn't really have anything to do with houses.

Ours were named after local families I think...

Wilson, Pilkington, Richmond and Stanley. I was in Wilson (blue), Stanley (red) was the cool house though :( we only had them in primary school though, our secondary school didn't bother with them. There were six different groups in each year when I was there, C, A, S, T, L and E. I was in A but T was the cool one.

I always missed out on the cool groups :(

In junior school it was Scott, Hillary, Livingstone and Shackleton. I was in Hillary, which was the colour green.

Secondary school was Chichester, Petworth, Arundel and one other I can't remember. I was in Petworth, which was blue.

I never did see the point in any of it and didn't give a shit.

At primary school they were named after Hull ferrys or something. Junior school it was just plain old boring colours. Senior school had no such thing.

I do wish I was born later and had been placed in the noble house of Gryffindor whilst secretly wishing I had been put in Slytherin.

I went to rough schools. Never had Houses. Was a miracle any teachers stayed long enough to have forms.

When I taught I had my own House, in most schools. Thought it was a load of crap, personally - antiquated nonsense. The odd thing is I can't actually remember the name of any of 'my' Houses. Not one.
