Last heard of working as a paediatrician in Kent - it was only the North West hospital authority that barred her from working on child abuse claims.....

    Sooo reassuring!

    Source please?

IF it is his account and they are his tweets then the man is in serious need of some help/support

The Kenyons seemed to mainly go to Eton, interestingly the peerage says nothing about Thomas Kenyon's education but I presume as both his brothers went there he did, unless he had other issues earlier on that prevented him going there. They lived at Gredington Hall (photos here) down a long drive between Penley & Hanmer, which was only about 10 miles from Marchwiel where Jimmie McAlpine and his sister Ethel Bell lived at Gerwyn & Marchwiel Hall. I don't think there's any doubt as fellow local aristocrats/gentry, that they would have known each other.
Thanks. I did wonder if they mixed socially, because it seems a bit of a coincidence if a Kenyon and a McAlpine were involved.

    No hard facts at all.

I'm not surprised they were defensive. His response to the question of whether he had any proof to back up his theory basically boiled down to the old appeal to greater knowledge: I'm an expert, I know about these things.

I don’t know about shrugging him off, maybe they were busy and the female doctors were occupied elsewhere. They can’t just drop what they are doing.

Best thing for the guy is to remove himself from twitter. If he really hasn't slept for nearly 3 days then he might be reading all kinds of wrong signals. Poor lad...

Yep his lack of sleep could be affecting his judgement and he could be reading into things more than he should.

This story highlights why people have been too afraid to come forward when it involves a somebody with a good reputation. I'm fed up with people calling this a witch hunt. Thats what was being said about JS and why he never faced prosecution. Cyril Smiths brother was calling his brothers victims cowards. At the very least he was massive bully who abused his position.

Hi i am here feel ill dont want to be here anymore and as for bbc wales tonight that was a mess you should be ashamed bbc protecting the bbc

    Morning All.
I couldn't watch the BBC Wales programme, but people on here seem to think it was OK. Does anyone know what Steve may have meant by it being a mess?

Looking at some of Steve's tweets and the fact he has appeared on TV and radio programmes, I think he is crying out for attention. I am hoping someone is giving him the attention he needs, away from the public. I truly believe all media outlets need to leave him alone now, or there could be a tragic ending. I hope he has a close family member or friend helping him, but somehow I doubt it as surely they would not have let him be dragged into all this again.

you're right, I am presuming he went to A&E, obviously a very busy dept. They probably need to get the psych team in as specialists (purely speculation based on tweets). I hope he can be patient and get some help.

Has MWT suddenly become an expert in the making of Light Entertainment shows, did he produce any evidence Savile created the various TV shows he presented?

Indeed, it was excellent, well researched, very moving, what Newsnight should have been. It looks like neither the Jillings Report nor the Waterhouse inquiry made a proper attempt to reinvestigate the abuse or the abusers.

I must have missed that, what did Messham say?

He said he was logging off the computer and saw a photo of Lord McAlpine and realised he had the wrong person.

It's maybe the case that he doesn't have access to the internet in everyday life, thats the only explanation I can think of because I know I would have had a look on-line at the person I was accusing.

Not a shred. Said he, Savile, possibly had input into some of the shows, possibly Saviles Travels. Hmm. I am getting very suspicious of some of theses guys. Is he pushing another programme?

I hope they have Steve's details on file if he needs a full psychological evaluation, access to CBT/therapy or something similar, that may involve being on some sort of waiting list to see an specialist? but then if there was clear evidence he may be a risk to himself or others then the authorities can force help on him but when he tries to access help, the right people aren't available? shame. I imagine it does require some sort of specialist who might well be very busy when there's no notice given of requiring help... I attended a couple of CBT courses at a local hospital but had to wait numerous months to be offered a place when a new set of sessions started up, had to get referred from my GP but thats a different situation I suppose. Maybe he'd be better phoning a charity helpline when he's in a particularly low mood, while waiting to get access to something more appropriate? they should certainly be more compassionate, apart from anything else (I'd hope anyway).

This isn't a great time for the NHS, I heard mention of some story the other day indicating there's yet another crisis due to hit the NHS shortly :( I do hope he'll be ok though, it sounds like he's being made a fall guy.

This must be uncomfortable for the BBC as its close to home on several levels.

Yes, he has a follow up next week.

If you think of shows like Suprise, Surprise it's not expected Holly Willoughby has gone and carried out the reasearch. Until she turns up at the studio she probably hasn't a clue what's to be in the show.

The impression I have Savile is he'd turn up at the last moment, do a show and be off and have minimal contact with the producers between shows.

Maybe the BBC have on file exchanges as to how certain programmes came about.

    Why should it be NHS?

I'm sure the various media could afford to provide him with private health care if required.

Thats true...ok, I just presumed NHS. Well I hope he gets whatever he needs, though I'm only familiar with the NHS.

    Yes it was good.

Inching closer to the truth in North Wales bit by bit: Peter Morrison and an unnamed "Grandee" who i assume is the local McAlpine who died before the Waterhouse Inquiry.
