Tim Brabants would be a good choice.

    They should have an RAF Fighter Pilot like the last time it was in London!

    It's going to be the same person as who carries the British flag, which is likely to Chris Hoy

    No it's not. Chris Hoy has won the right to walk out with the flag. The person who came 2nd will take the oath. Thats's rumoured to be Katherine Grainger.

    What, no support for Dwain Chambers?

    Seems like Katherine Grainger would be a good choice. I assume she has a clear voice and a lovely accent?

    He's a doctor, so must have a convincing bedside manner. Plus if it all goes pear-shaped and someone gets burned, he can sort it out.
