It's bizarre, isn't it? I can't think of another example of a team being so consistently drastically different in each half.
I don't have a bad word to say about the forwards, well generally.

It's defenders who win you games and cups. Wenger seems to have forgotten that. It was my New Year's prayer that Wenger would work on it.

    Erm....
I dont know what to say anymore. I just saw the score flash 0-2 and thought "F*ck" but now its 2-2, can we go on and win this?

    Point gained.

You do not and should not win games defending like that.

Liverpool were good at times but as ever, Arsene FC is the architects of their own downfall.

    Good day for Everton mind.

Shouldn't have dropped points there. The defence just isn't good enough - and if Gibbs is out for a while...

Now get rid of Santos. Just how bad is he?

Santos nearly giving a goal away at the end.....sheesh! So much work to do at our club!

Well the Orcs next, should be interesting to see how we get on against them?

Yeah, Santos could have played 90 minutes.

Good match you lot, fair result in the end, we are pleased and relieved to have got a draw from you. :)

One day to sign a right back. I'd add a keeper too. Chesney is awful at present and there are no real alternatives to him either. Too late though.
We can't expect anything with a defence this bad. Why though can't we play for 90 mins?!

Yep, could have gone either way in the end - agree a draw a fair result :)

Never seen a left back get torn apart as much as that surely Wenger needs to sign a new LB ASAP Santos really is useless.

Typifies how awful the league is this season.

And why I cannot rule out the fourth-placed trophy.

    Gibbs out for 3 weeks

A new defender is needed, santos is awful.
We could pick up the 4th place trophy yet.
Sp*rs will drop points, Chelsea can't keep a clean sheet either.

IF Wenger had reinforced the defence and if there were some sort of defensive collective organisation that instilled confidence in the defenders as a unit, we'd have a good crack at 4th. I can't see us winning enough games though. The defence is all over the place and likely to stay that way. It's doubly frustrating as this isn't a vintage PL.
Santos for 3 weeks (at least).....who's the youth team RB?

If Wenger leaves and takes half the squad with him, that would be as good as winning a trophy for me, never mind 4th place!

In my earlier post I meant it could have been worse as we could have lost and Chelsea could have won. I can imagine him mentioning "m*nt*l Str*ngth" right now.

Will Wenger even have a deal for a new left back lined up?

It's not as if he hadn't had prior warning that we have no adequate cover there.

He has to stop making excuses for this defense and get out and sign replacements.

Let's face it - Gibbs isn't good enough anyway - and how Santos gets anywhere near the team is incredible. I would play just about anyone else except him.

    Szczesney isn't good enough either.

We do have some very good players but we most certainly DO NOT have two players for every position. We don't even have ONE good player for every position.

    Agreed on the last point.
I like Chesney, cant fault his commitment and heart but he is only young still (easy to forget), sometimes he needs some help from someone experienced imo.

Well today's the day. Can't wait to see the influx of new signings throughout the day.
