    So next Saturday I have 1) a vets appointment 2) lunch with the In-Laws 3) London EXPO 4) a dinner party :eek:

    For someone who doesn't socialise this is a tall order :o:(

    Morning all, I was hoping for sun, but nooooo ...... I live in hopes! Didn't get round the the brownies yesterday so today I shall makes them and go visit poorly pal, recovering from heart surgery. Chocolate brownies made with all butter is good for hearts. THey is, really they is :D

    Evenings! The patient loved the brownies, we sat and gossed and ate two each :D He looks very well considering!

    If you are giving the party Silent, I should prep all the food the day before and fridge it, or even cook it and warm up. Chilli usually does well reheated cos the flavas develops! You'd have to tell the outlaws up front you had to leave the lunch party early, and you'd need to back in the house by 7 latest to sort the dinner party foods! All a bit of a rush to be honest!

    Oh Mrs T and hoots, its got to warm up soon!!! It's perishing out and am sat here in Ugg boots and thick cardy!!! :(

    Better idea, but lots more spensive....how many are you having? It could run to a lot of money :eek::eek: A gigangtic chilli and rice would be very cheap and you could do salsa, tortilla chips, mexican dips and cornbread. A veritable feast! :cool: All of it sortable in advance!

    Haven`t mentioned it to the dr ...been playing up a bit. Reckon it`s too much gardening.....but the alternative is a jungle cors we can`t afford to move.:D
