Anyone think they should get rid of Brian Friedman.

The X factor used to be about normal people coming on stage to sing.

Now its a big performance which masks their singing abilities.

Its clear Brian only got the job because he got the chop from the panel.

It feels very cheap now with 30+ dancers on stage with the contestants and other big productions

Or is this only me?

The dancers and big perfomances and stuff don't really bother me. It's more him thinking he's relevant/the show is about him etc

well if it's true that he told Katie Waissel that she should audition this year, then hell yes he needs to go...no, not just go, he needs blindfolding...standing up against a wall in front of a firing squad and shooting! :D

I have said this for ages, there is no need for all the dancers and big staging. It should just be about them singing, that simple.

Yes he should go. He's turned what was once a singing contest into a copycat version of Eurovision

I love the big productions :) although his choreography at times is a bit wtf. Doesn't always fit in with the song being sung.

I don't mind Brian, i prefer Louis Spence though so i say replace Friedman with the Spence :D

He should definately go. The dancers are uneccessary and the dances are totally unconnected with the song. It is often just a big ego trip for Freedman

They should definitely get rid of him. What's the point of him?

    No your not alone.

I think what Cowell has done is try turn it into a Saturday night spectacular like they used to have in the 60s/70s/80s.

I know he admired all those shows but time has moved on and what was a singing contest has turned into the cheapo version of 'Saturday night at the Palladium' which used to boast Hollywood stars sometimes-this is just tacky and is more like 'Saturday night with Chezza at the kebab shop'..

Freidman is tacky, really cheesy in fact and it shows in the dancing and routines.

I liked the X Factor when it was very basic-now I cant be bothered.

I am even starting to wish they would bring Sharon back.

This is his last series anyway. He's joining the US one.

I like his dress sense, the way he wears a hoody at all times indoors. Its so relevant.
