I have decanted some Blackberry brandy- left over blackberries. Are they OK to eat?

Just wondering. It's probably a silly question but I'm asking it anyway. :)

Yes, the brandy will have preserved them. But careful, they'll get you very drunk. ;)

    Nice with custard or blancmange.
If you don't want to get drunk (and they will be potent!:D) Cook them so the alcohol is driven off, but the brandy flavour will remain.

When we made Damson Gin last year we made a brilliant Damson Crumble with the Damsons! :D

What is your recipe for Blackberry Brandy? Sounds like it could be one to try next year!! :)

How about using them as the fruit in a trifle - that would be a nice boozy fruity base!!
